The first international training of the Intellectual Multiverse project took place from July 15 to 20 in Iasi, Romania!
During this time, Rosto Solidário and its partners embarked on an exciting journey through the universe of multiple intelligences, exploring innovative ways to personalize adult education and adapt it to different contexts.
During the training, participants delved into Gardner’s psychological theory of multiple intelligences. This theory posits that humans are not all intelligent in the same way, but that each person develops a different type of intelligence based on their aptitudes, inclinations, and often, their intelligence results from a combination of one or more different intelligences. Fascinating? Absolutely!
That’s why the Intellectual Multiverse project, co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ program, aims to create, test, and consolidate methodologies and activities based on the theory of multiple intelligences to be applied in adult education.
In addition to exploring the theory of intelligences, the 15 participants, representing the project partners (from Spain, Portugal, Romania, and Italy), created, organized, and tested activities based on some of these intelligences, with a focus on intra- and interpersonal intelligences. They also explored two other intelligences: spatial and bodily-kinesthetic.
Participants engaged in various exercises, including spatial visualization, motor coordination with music, body percussion, and sensory exploration, with blindfolds or by manipulating clay.
The games developed by different groups were tested and received valuable feedback.
The overall learning experience was extremely positive, and the next steps for the October training in Salamanca have already been outlined. The days were filled with practical activities and creative dynamics, exploring new learning methods and different educational approaches. It was a productive experience, full of collaboration and innovation!
Remember, the Intellectual Multiverse promotes educational equity and values the personal potential in each of us.
