Mulheres e Vida – Training Material

The official distribution of training kits to the women multipliers has begun, marking the start of the community empowerment process within the “Mulheres e vida” project.

The training sessions will take place from July 12 to August 9 and will cover three dioceses across the provinces of Luanda and Bengo, in Angola.

Each kit compiles the content developed during the initial training of the multipliers and is structured around four key thematic areas:

Entrepreneurship and empowerment

Physical health

Human and women’s rights

Mental health and well-being

In addition to theoretical content, the kits include facilitation tips, session planning suggestions, practical exercises, group dynamics, as well as materials on resources and business plan development.

The goal is to provide an effective support guide for multipliers, enabling them to lead training sessions with groups of women in their communities.

In total, 10 groups are expected to be created, each exploring the four themes through modules consisting of 3 to 5 sessions of 90 minutes each.

Through this approach, the project aims to promote the well-being, autonomy, and empowerment of Angolan women by strengthening entrepreneurial skills and expanding knowledge on fundamental rights and holistic health.

“We are confident that this process will have a transformative impact on the lives of these women and, consequently, on their communities,” highlight the project partners.

The “Mulheres e vida” project is coordinated by Rosto Solidário, funded by Camões – Institute for Cooperation and Language, I.P., and developed in partnership with Cáritas Portuguesa, Saúde em Português, and Cáritas de Angola.
