Eurodesk & Mobilities
The Education for Global Citizenship (ECG) is assumed as an area of action of the Rosto Solidário following the work developed over the last years in Development Education.
As Global Citizenship Education is the fifth and most recent generation of Development Education (Mesa, 2000), action in this area aims to bring together realities that are apparently distinct but unequivocally interrelated. The reflection on and the search for local and global solutions to problems, which are also local and global, aim at raising awareness of the global nature of the exercise of citizenship and civic participation in today’s world.
In this sense, the GCE is central to the Rosto Solidário because it seeks social transformation, promoting behavioural change, awakening critical awareness and influencing its own intervention within the other areas of intervention of the Association.
The operationalization of this area of action seeks to be aligned with the guidelines present in the Strategic Concept of Portuguese Cooperation 2014-2020 and the National Strategy for Education for Development.

Erasmus+ Mobilities and Learning
Rosto Solidário promotes a set of mobility and learning opportunities in the youth sector under the Erasmus + Programme.
In this section you can find the description of several initiatives led by the Association or in partnership with other European organizations, such as youth exchanges, training courses and seminars.

Eurodesk
Eurodesk is a European information network on international learning mobility opportunities.
Rosto Solidário, as a Eurodesk multiplier, assumes in its mission the information to young people and youth workers, enhancing the proximity of European opportunities and relevant information to these publics.
