On 17 and 18 September, a transnational meeting of the My Rural Mentor project, funded by the Erasmus+ programme, took place in Trapani, Italy.

The meeting brought together the project partners to review the progress of the activities carried out so far and define the next steps.

Key topics included the implementation of the mentoring model, support and follow-up for mentors and young participants, service-learning projects, monitoring and evaluation, and upcoming communication and dissemination activities.

In Portugal, the project involves Rosto Solidário and Casa-Escola Agrícola Campo Verde, in Rates, which contribute to the development and implementation of mentoring and youth participation activities in rural contexts.

My Rural Mentor aims to promote the well-being, participation and inclusion of vulnerable young people living in rural and depopulated areas through mentoring relationships, community activities and initiatives led by young people themselves.

The meeting provided an opportunity to strengthen cooperation among the partners and make progress in preparing the next phases of the project.
