Following the last General Assembly, held on January 8th, the new elements from Rosto Solidário board of directors were elected.
At this meeting and with the participation of its members, seven new names were defined and will take their duties on January 19, 2024.
Paulo Gomes Sousa, who will continue as President of the association’s board, said that “(…) After receiving the mission from my Provincial Superior to continue as a Passionist Missionary in Santa Maria da Feira and having, among other missions, to take on Rosto Solidário, it is a great responsibility, but also a privilege once that I’m allowed to continue to follow its path and its daily work closely and with pride (…)”.
Like Paulo Gomes Sousa, António Cavaco and Fausto Sá, will remain for the new term.
“(…) I am deeply grateful to those who accompanied me in the previous term and feel confident about the future, with this new team that has been formed for the 2024-2027 term. (…)”, says the president, also hoping that by setting up a renewed board, the association will begin to define its strategy for the coming years, keeping pace with change, responding to new needs in the local community and, at the same time, encouraging its growth at national, European and African level, as well as occasionally in other continents and geographies.
