At the end of September, the “Women and Life” project, promoted by Rosto Solidário, held another training session for women multipliers from the provinces of Luanda and Bengo.

The sessions focused on human rights, women’s rights and challenging gender stereotypes, creating a space for reflection and strengthening women’s empowerment.

On 8 November, a new meeting was held at the premises of the General Directorate of Cáritas de Angola, one of the project’s partners, with the aim of planning the community sessions and delivering kits to the multipliers containing the materials from the latest training modules.

The kits will be used to facilitate activities between 15 November and 12 December in the dioceses of Luanda, Viana and Caxito, reaching more than 120 women.

The meeting brought together the women who form the group’s core team, as well as the project coordination team, in an atmosphere of sharing, motivation and commitment.

As part of the celebrations of Dipanda, marking 50 years of Angola’s independence, the occasion also served to celebrate the empowerment of Angolan women, a symbol of resilience, courage and social transformation.

The project is also implemented in partnership with Cáritas Portuguesa and Saúde em Português, strengthening community-based work and the promotion of gender equality in the regions involved.
