As part of the Re-Crafts – Strengthening Training and Entrepreneurship in the Sustainable Craft Sector project, and following the international training held in Portugal, several workshops are now taking place with the aim of strengthening practical skills related to sustainable craftsmanship and the creative reuse of materials.

The first session took place at FEDESPAB and involved 11 Tourism students, who actively participated in the proposed activities.

During the workshops, students had the opportunity to explore techniques such as eco-crochet and the creation of beaded accessories, combining creativity with environmental sustainability.

These activities encourage upcycling practices, as well as cultural and environmental preservation, contributing to the training of future professionals in the tourism sector.

Throughout this month, the project will continue with a new session dedicated to material reuse, with a particular focus on reusing paper, further raising environmental awareness and promoting innovation in craftsmanship.

The remaining activities are also scheduled for June, continuing the series of workshops planned as part of the Re-Crafts project.

The project stands out for its contribution to vocational training, promoting creative and sustainable skills aligned with current trends in tourism and the green economy.

Funded by Erasmus+, the project is coordinated by Rosto Solidário and includes FEDESPAB (Portugal), Cáritas de Angola (Angola), Cáritas Moçambicana (Mozambique), Espaço Jovem (Cape Verde) and ASPAYM (Spain) as partners.
