\u201cWomen and Life\u201d Training Promotes Women\u2019s Rights and Gender Equality in Angola<\/span><\/h3>\n

From 26 to 28 September, another training session under the \u201cWomen and Life\u201d project will take place, representing another important step in a project that promotes the well-being and empowerment of Angolan women from the provinces of Luanda and Bengo.<\/p>\n

The training will be organised into three modules:<\/p>\n

1. First Steps: Human Rights, Women\u2019s Rights and Challenging Stereotypes
Activities will focus on getting to know each other, introducing the concepts of human rights, and exploring women\u2019s rights in Angola.<\/p>\n

2. Challenging Roles, Building Equality
This module will explore what it means to be a woman, challenge traditional gender roles, and promote equal opportunities in areas such as education, employment, politics and leisure time.<\/p>\n

3. Rights and Dreams: Building Equality Between Women and Men
The final module will address property, marriage and inheritance rights, while encouraging participants to reflect on the future they envision for gender equality.<\/p>\n

This initiative will promote reflection, practical learning and discussion around women\u2019s rights, contributing to the development of communities that are more equitable, fair and inclusive.<\/p>\n

The \u201cWomen and Life\u201d project aims to strengthen entrepreneurial skills, knowledge of human and women\u2019s rights, and awareness of physical and mental health, while also supporting efforts to combat domestic violence and promoting access to sexual, reproductive and maternal and child health services.<\/p>\n
